We waited for 30 minutes past performance time for Imelda Marcos to arrive along with her friend, Christina Ford. When The Lettermen sang Dahil Sa Iyo that night, Imelda stood up and sang with them. My wife and I were married in Manila in April that year, and this song, has been "our song" ever since. __________________________________________________
