pianofreak51595k ::: Favorites 2007-12-24 14:08:59 i liked the tempo for seasons of love, especially since the drums were added. it was different. in no day but today though, it was flat in the beginning, and the drums weren't a good addition in the beginning. __________________________________________________

angelofmusic01 ::: Favorites 2007-09-05 20:13:59 -Sopranos and Tenors were flat -Seasons of Love was waaaaaay to fast -The drums were a good addition -Lots of people were sliding the notes on No Day But Today. Over all...it wasn't a very good performance __________________________________________________
itsacalamity ::: Favorites 2007-08-01 06:41:54 sopranos were often flat, seasons of loves was a little to fast, they didnt really listen to each other. And they just seem to be stood on a stage singing there was no real feeling at all also i think i could find a total of about three people that looked as if the were enjoying themselves! __________________________________________________
MikEntertainment ::: Favorites 2007-07-01 13:10:30 I am a trained journalistic critic, and so I know how to give something a bad review and for what reasons...and i'm having alot of trouble understanding everyone who says it was bad. It wasn't perfect, but it wasn't bad by any means. I thorougly enjoyed myself. Good job to you all. __________________________________________________
PyrotechnicsFan ::: Favorites 2007-06-22 16:02:36 Few Comments: 1. The Finale B was very poor, you guys should work on harmonies better and get together. 2. The Seasons of Love was to fast, and the 'how-about' were to stressed. 3. Everyone is singing their own thing, good lord, listen to each other! 4. Sops and Tenors flat. 5. Piano playing too dry, get rid of the drum beats and get a painist who will give a bit of emotion in to the piece. 6. Final few bars should be mega expressed. __________________________________________________
yrrel90 ::: Favorites 2007-05-22 06:42:01 your right... i do agree with that __________________________________________________
punkNdisordered ::: Favorites 2007-03-24 17:09:57 Yeah, the tempo was a bit too fast for Seasons of Love. __________________________________________________
AngelDSchunardfan87 ::: Favorites 2007-03-23 17:25:41 Definite potential! I agree that it was good try. Rent is one of my favs, and it wasn't terribly bad, but there was a quite a few pitchy place. You are only beginners, and advanced or professional choir with this kind of pitch, would deserve a terrible. You definently tried and it was a good! You should be proud because that was HARD music! __________________________________________________
chinter ::: Favorites 2007-03-14 01:46:02 1) big difference between CC and HS. 2) this was an encore, not one of our core pieces. We worked on it for 3 weeks total along with maintaining the other pieces. 3) i highly doubt that ANY CC choir has less experience than us. please be an honest critic. Your first sentence was fine enough. __________________________________________________
oldskoolr28 ::: Favorites 2007-03-12 04:06:32 too fast. and you skipped the transition from WILL I to SEASONS OF LOVE in the MEDLEY. i dont care if its a first year director with a first year choir. i know MVCC who has less experience and have done WAY better. no excuses. __________________________________________________
CLRana9017 ::: Favorites 2007-03-07 23:32:59 It was too slow for "Will I" and it is too fast for "Seasons of Love". Good overall, I guess. __________________________________________________
majorsaxplayer ::: Favorites 2007-02-19 01:45:13 There is definately a lot of potential... For a first year group w/ a first year director I would suggest finding more appropriate literature. Sure Rent is popular, but the music is a lot harder than it seems. The director made a horrible decision--this is way out of the singers' ranges. Overall though, most audiences wouldn't know the difference. Goodluck in the future. __________________________________________________
allspice ::: Favorites 2007-02-18 15:30:42 The tempo was a bit slow, most of the soprano's were flat during the entire medley. None of the females are listening to each other, because none of them are blending at all. It's just a few minor things that really detract from your performance. __________________________________________________
brettnexx ::: Favorites 2006-12-17 17:41:14 the audience doesn't know how to clap.... __________________________________________________ |
