fawkes6666 ::: Favorites If by the time of the epilogue Harry (and ron, hermione, etc) were about 36, its likely that it symbolizes a new start in this new generation. According to jkr, the 'old' generation (snape, lupin, sirius, etc) was 36 years old when the series began. The characters age in the epilogue could be a good way of pointing out that yeah, evil was defeated, people grew up and found happiness, etc, unlike that now dead generation who never got past the 'horrors', if you want, of Voldemort's reign. 07-09-23 09:29:52 __________________________________________________
