Lomg way to go and when he reaches the 1000 wicket mark that would be enough for even Wisden to give him the recognition he deserve. Malcolm Marshall is a better bowler, as is Garner, Ambrose, Barnes and McGrath if you go by stats alone. There's no standout bowler in cricket history. Bradman aside, there's no standout batsman either. Just many great bowlers, of which Murali is one.
