scottiebee1983 ::: Favorites i agree. im from new york where we can have blues but no air horn. i have seen FFs in MO do the same as NY and NJ but they have sirens and headlights flashers (wig-wags) and its very effective 07-08-10 22:10:18 _____________________________________________________
NATEMILLS1 ::: Favorites I guess here in Arkansas we are pretty lucky, We can run red and clear lights along with a siren. Blue is considered police only but either way if you fail to pull over for either if your plate is called in you can count on a pretty hefty ticket 07-06-21 23:06:35 _____________________________________________________
eng612foam616 ::: Favorites if i was stil volunteering i would go to the state capital and try and make sirens on a pov legal. i live in nj so were only sllowed blue lights and and air horn so my thought would be to keep using blue lights and just add the sirens. a lot of towns in nj are rural so it could take at least 15-20 minutes to get to the house and roll the truck, some firefighters live in a town where theyre not a firefighter in so sirens come very useful. 07-06-11 23:53:16 _____________________________________________________ |
