guldynka ::: Favorites The Quuen Mary II is 2002 or whatever year it is but it doesn't matter, and these RMS twins as The Titanic and The Olympic were supossed to be something like revolutionary and they really were, the White Star Line built the greatest ships (1909), and they built them quite good... people will never forget on that legendary ship and tragic accident on her first mayden voyage where too many people lost their lives,uselessly.Thanks god to Carpathia 07-08-11 08:24:48 _____________________________________________________

Tan1mill ::: Favorites The iceburg Titanic hit was reported by S.S. Mesaba at 9:38 p.m April 14th, but the warning was never taken to the Bridge. Ismay had a lot to do with the ships speed that night. Smith knew of other warnings, and wanted the ship at a slower speed. If anyone is going to have a finger pointed at them, it should be Ismay. Smith tied to the very end to help save people in any way he could. The most recent Titanic movie doesn't show this at all.
